Personality || Blue was placed for sale in year ten by Strides of Perfection Stables, and Shamrock jumped at the chance to gain such a talented sprinter with such an incredible record. He is a dominant colt set on getting his way or no way. He'll never back down from any challenge and will always go to great lengths to preserve his dominance. He sees even little things as challenges - one wrong look from Presley and even a glance from Holden (who is submissive by all measures) gets him in a rage. But this is is personality only with horses. When it comes to people, he morphs into an angel. We think it's because humans don't back down as easily as horses do, and therefore people have his respect. Blue isn't the type of horse who bonds easily with people. He's emotionless to the core, but he does care about some things; his dominance, and running to the best of his ability. Running is a chance to let his emotions flow, and Blue takes advantage of that. The unique thing about him is that the only way to get close to him is when you're in the saddle and riding him. Then, and only then, does he give you his full attention. Blue has developed a severe superiority complex when it comes to fillies after losing to them so many times - he's pretty much an equine sexist and races harder against them just to prove that colts should be leading, with fillies behind.

Racing Style || Blue breaks like a bullet and goes straight to the lead. He isn't afraid to go to great lengths to maintain that lead, instead relishing the physical challenge. He doesn't have much of an analytical side, relying solely on his amazing speed and sprint stamina to score him the win. He's not too hot headed on the track and can listen, but sometimes he chooses to follow his own advice, and then it's his way to heaven or going down in fire. Every time he loses he's quick to recover and just as eager to run and win in the next race. His positive attitude is a great asset to his racing. Whenever he runs he works hard and is totally focused, and we hope to make sure his hard work is rewarded
