Personality || Rain is a sweetheart and a heart of gold. Unlike most thoroughbreds which are quiet hyper and hard to handle, Rain isn’t in fact she is the opposite. While being tacked up she would stand like an angel and quiet often snoozed while waiting. Even though she is pretty short horse, she can eat twice as much as average fillies of her sized. Another good talent of hers is just lying around in the shade underneath the nearer tree she can find, this gives her reputation of a poor racer. On the track is another story, she is a different horse and would run until her heart gave out, she loves to run and would respond to a light touch of the rein and her jockey’s yell. No whip is needed for this obeintant and placid horse.

History || Rain was bred at Gelli Aur Stables. Her mother was a sweet natured mare that never saw the track and was simply used as a jumping horse and a broodmare. Her father was a violent and aggressive competitor racehorse, nothing much is known of him, since he vanished off the records. Some say he was stolen or killed. To this day Rain’s pedigree record is mystery.

Racing Style || Rain’s style is easy to see, always the first loading in the gate, which she takes in her stride. She would then wait patiently for the gates to spring open, once they have she would then bounce straight into action like there was something going to eat her. No matter on the amount of runners she would always stick to third position on the inside, hugging the rail almost the way. Keeping this position she watch for the leader to lose stride and fall back, this is when she creep into second position. Sticking here and still reserving her energy ready to make her move properly for the final two furlongs. When this comes, she stretch her tiny frame and go faster and faster, until she as the lead, and bring the victory home with her.
