Personality || when silvia first found piper she found her at a low grade sale in illonis. the filly had been taken care of for the most part as it looked. silvia had decided to come to the auction to see if she could get any diamonds that were just stuck in the dirt. when she asked the owner about piper she found her out the owner was running out of money and had no chance but to put the filly up for sale even though she seemed like good prospect and had already been trained good for the most part. silvia just barily won the bid against a man who was known to be cruel to horses. the filly has surprised most of us showing that she can go turf or dirt. she brings light into our world and shows that if you just go with the flow everything will be okay. for the most part she can tend to get rotten sometimes but other than that shes sweet. piper acts and looks like a colt. she always struts everywhere but not like a filly but like a proud stallion. although relatively boyish she does love to be spoiled over and enjoys being brushed and relaxing sometimes. she is lazy however and tends to ignore riders, although she won't ignore you on the ground. sometimes it's hard to click with a horse and piper is one of those horses. she just needs to understand her inner strength and let it out.
when we first got piper we imagined her to be a real gem, but we were wrong when we noticed how easy she was, so easy that it was hard. piper seemed not to care during workouts and went at her own pace, her past owner said she was whip shy so we couldn't solve the problem with that. deciding against harsh training methods we gave her a break and took her back out, she still wasn't improving, sure she was fast but she didn't put her heart into it. we finally figured out what it was that piper needed when she was working out one time and spotted another horse up the track the filly absolutely shot out from under silvia and charged pass the horse. ever since than it's been easy to work piper just not as good alone, but she is improving. piper has gotten sweeter by the day and flourishes in attention, she practically soaks in it. just be sure not to pass by her stall without a greeting.

Racing Leg || Back of the pack
Racing Style || piper usually breaks clean and easy and stays near the back of the pack. she doesn't like to work anymore than needed and usually ganders along at a pace she enjoys. the filly does however take notice to were everyone else is, sure she's slow in the start but she focuses nicely. once piper sees the turn coming up she creeps up until shes on the outside and near the front of the pack, piper does sprint the whole stretch so sometimes it's hard for tracks that are longer for her to sprint because there is no stopping her once shes got her mind set to it. however she does have an amazing closing kick after saving up all that energy and hopefully passes by any horse in sight.
