If you want to handle a calm and obedient horse, then you should just go away and don't come nearer this colt. Dragon is never calm, to get his own way he would kick and bite you. He would threaten you whenever you come nearer his stall door, challenging your fear. He is very aggressive colt and this behaviour still continues while being groomed and tacked up. Soon you back your guard down, he would sneak in an attack and bite or crushed you. Firm handling is needed to keep this colt in line, or he would simple walk all over you.


On the track he would use his attitude problems to try and take over the situation. He would fight with his bite all the way. If he sees another horse on the track, he goes mental. Dragon would try and get to the other horse, which is way he is worked on his own and early as possible before the track is busy with other runners. When Dragon is working out and he changes completely and follow the commands to the letter, it's like he is a different horse. Though soon his workout is finished, he goes back to his monster like attitude all over again

Dragon as some excellent bloodlines and let's begin with his sire. Everyday Hero is hall of fame inductee stallion. He retired with a record of 51-18-15-9 and he also won some important races, including the following major races. Dragon is Made in Manhattan second foal, he is half brother to Manhattan Royalty who is now in his prospect career. Manhattan retired as a grade 2 with a record of 30 - 11 - 4 - 2. She also some major races in her career, they were SPRING CUP* and
GHS STABLE FACE-OFF*.

Dragon breaks really cleanly and quick from the gate. He is easy to load, even though he can sometimes rear when being led into the small space. He quickly goes into second and stalking the leader, closely. Dragon often pushes the other horse to go faster than their limit so they tire easily. Once it's time to make his move, he does quickly and sneakily so the other horse have no time to retract and he then takes the lead and fight to keep it until the race is over.
